Hello. My name is Emily, and in seven years I will be an alcoholic. Well not really considering I may be there already. J/K; although I do love vodka (Stoli) amongst other alcoholic beverages. Seriously, my name really is Emily, but there are a plethora of names by which I go. Emily. Ava. Supe. Miss Supe. The Supe. Nels. Emmo. I think that is pretty much all of them. Beside that, I love sports. Pittsburgh Peguins. Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh Pirates. Yes, that means I would watch a Pens game over a Steeler game any day. I am a huge gymnastics fan, considering it was part of my life for 20 years. Did I mention I play dek hockey? If not, I do. I love the fall.shoes.dresses.crosswrod puzzles.traveling.reading. My favorite book is 'Catcher in the Rye.' I hate phonies; get away from me, thanks. I also hate people in my personal space, even my boyfriend, don't worry it is not just you. I love nerds.chocolate covered gummi bears. I think that is all you need to know at the moment. O yeah, one more thing; I do not trust people who do not drink.

Stop the Charade.

Until this point, I have not commented on Osama bin Laden's death.  It is one of those things by which you are shocked that you have so many thoughts you can't get think straight.  Once the shock factor subsides you are able to put pieces together and think clearly.  So after reading, writing, re-reading, re-writing, these are my thoughts on Osama bin Laden and President Obama.  Mind you, it is all speculation, my thoughts, and opinions......

So while on the eliptical at the gym, I watched "The O'Reilly Factor".  This was the first I really paid attention to the TV media coverage of Osama's death.  While his death tops the media, the more interesting tidbit is United States moving forward with or without Obama.

This one 'act' in Obama's presidency may have saved his reputation and his campaign for the presidency in 2012.  Obama  made the decision to go ahead with the military operation the lead to Osama's death.  Obama took credit, along with others, of the success of the operation.  Some Americans consider him god right now.  He accomplished  it all.  To see how elated the American public was after Obama's announcement of Osama's death, I would not put it past America to elect him in 2012.  After all this is one of the greatest military defeats in terrorism, so why not elect him in 2012?

Obama won over the American public, but don't you think for a very left-winged president, this was more of a right-winged decision?   Seems odd after almost three years in offiice, making decision after decision with a  very liberal view, that he made this conservative-type decision with ease.  Interesting, right?   Maybe with this indecisive decision of his, he gained popularity for the time being with the American public, but how long can his charade last?

  1. Does this charade, that has won the hearts of so many americans, mean you are moving to Canada in 2012?
