Hello. My name is Emily, and in seven years I will be an alcoholic. Well not really considering I may be there already. J/K; although I do love vodka (Stoli) amongst other alcoholic beverages. Seriously, my name really is Emily, but there are a plethora of names by which I go. Emily. Ava. Supe. Miss Supe. The Supe. Nels. Emmo. I think that is pretty much all of them. Beside that, I love sports. Pittsburgh Peguins. Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh Pirates. Yes, that means I would watch a Pens game over a Steeler game any day. I am a huge gymnastics fan, considering it was part of my life for 20 years. Did I mention I play dek hockey? If not, I do. I love the fall.shoes.dresses.crosswrod puzzles.traveling.reading. My favorite book is 'Catcher in the Rye.' I hate phonies; get away from me, thanks. I also hate people in my personal space, even my boyfriend, don't worry it is not just you. I love nerds.chocolate covered gummi bears. I think that is all you need to know at the moment. O yeah, one more thing; I do not trust people who do not drink.

So we have all heard and even experienced how overweight/obese the American population is. If not, get out of your hole and look around. Sure there is a small percentage of the population where a medical condition causes their obesity, but that percentage is certainly small.  The other part of the population that is obese due to laziness, well that is just inexcusable.  

I witnesses inexcusable actions last week, and although the actions were inexcusable, I found it quite humorous.

So I went to my least favorite Starbucks, which is in a Target.  Who puts a Starbucks in Target?  Also, who puts a Pizza Hut in Target?  Weird to me, but I definitely was amused by these two women, mother and daugther (not to mention extremely overweight), who apparently had dinner at this Pizza Hut in Target.   There is the first problem.  Here is the second problem.

I ordered my grande bold coffee, and apparently had to wait a day and a half to get it. That's besides the point, anyway......while waiting by the Starbucks counter, this mother and daughter had already ordered their dinner from Pizza Hut, but they had their drink cups in hand.  With their extra large cups and dome-like lids, they walked over to the self-serve pop/slushie machine.  What comes next was totally outrageous, to me anyway.  The mother filled up her extra large cup to the top, put the lid on, and walked back to the Pizza Hut counter.  This seemed somewhat normal. Not OK, but normal.  Well now the daughter was up.  The daughter took her extra large cup
  • filled it halfway with Pepsi
  • chugged the Pepsi
  • filled it halfway with slushie
  • chugged the slushie
  • put the dome-like lid on the extra large cup
  • filled the cup up with slushie to the point the slush was spewing over top of the hole in the lid.
This cannot be normal.  Well for these people, it apparently is.   But I guess the point I am trying make is really?  We wonder why as a society we are overweight, well folks there is your answer.  People are lazy and have no self-control(I guess this could be said for a lot of problems too!).
