Hello. My name is Emily, and in seven years I will be an alcoholic. Well not really considering I may be there already. J/K; although I do love vodka (Stoli) amongst other alcoholic beverages. Seriously, my name really is Emily, but there are a plethora of names by which I go. Emily. Ava. Supe. Miss Supe. The Supe. Nels. Emmo. I think that is pretty much all of them. Beside that, I love sports. Pittsburgh Peguins. Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh Pirates. Yes, that means I would watch a Pens game over a Steeler game any day. I am a huge gymnastics fan, considering it was part of my life for 20 years. Did I mention I play dek hockey? If not, I do. I love the fall.shoes.dresses.crosswrod puzzles.traveling.reading. My favorite book is 'Catcher in the Rye.' I hate phonies; get away from me, thanks. I also hate people in my personal space, even my boyfriend, don't worry it is not just you. I love nerds.chocolate covered gummi bears. I think that is all you need to know at the moment. O yeah, one more thing; I do not trust people who do not drink.

Miss Supe’s Steeler Season
at
9:24 AM
Since NFL football is officially back, and the regular season is just about a month away, I figured The Supe will be back in action as well. A few years ago, the 2009 season, I predicted a 14-2 season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. This was totally off target; I think they went 8-8 or 9-7, I don't remember. Anyway, I got so much s*** from certain people, I refused to predict their record last year. Looking at that schedule two years ago, who would not have predicted them 14-2? Maybe it was a good idea that I didn't make predictions last year; they made it to the Superbowl. They lost, but made it nonetheless. So I guess, if the 2011 season goes to s***, I suppose you can blame it on The Supe. Anyway, after a year hiatus of making my annual Steelers picks, due to a certain few people, Ron Rossi and Dan Lucente, The Supe's picks are back! Here it is; take it or leave it!
2011 Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 1: @ Baltimore 1PM. First game out, against a rival, where the Steelers have always had Joe Flacco's number. Plus, the Ravens possibly starting three rookies. I don't think so Baltimore. WIN.
Week 2: vs. Seattle 1PM. First home game of 2011 season, they get it done in front of the home crowd. WIN.
Week 3: @ Indy 8:20pm. In the dome, no big deal. First primetime game of the season, big deal. WIN.
Week 4: @Houston 1PM. Hot QB, young team, still giving these Texans a chance. LOSS.
Week 5: vs. Tennessee 1PM. The curse of stomping on the Terrible Towel is still a curse to the Titans. Suck it. WIN.
Week 6: vs. Jacksonville 1PM. For some reason, the Steelers always have trouble with Jax. LOSS.
Week 7: @ Arizona 4:05PM. The Steelers' remix out in AZ does not have a chance. WIN.
Week 8: vs. New England 4:15PM. As much as I hate to say it, the Pats have our number. Can't deny that. LOSS.
Week 9: vs. Baltimore 8:20PM. Once again, the Steelers do not falter in primetime. And yes, I say a regular season sweep against the Ravens. WIN.
Week 10: @Cincy 1PM. The clusterfuck of the Bengals, no Carson Palmer. WIN.
Week 11: @KC 8:20PM. Primetime. After the last performance against KC, in that 2009 season, the Steelers want revenge. Get it done. WIN.
Week 12: vs. Cincy 1PM. Really? Bengals are still going to be a clusterfuck two weeks later. No chance. WIN.
Week 13: vs. Cleveland 8:20PM. First game out of two against Cle in primetime at home. WIN.
Week 14: @San Francisco 8:30PM. Really getting tired of these primetime games, so are the Steelers. West Coast, late in the season, some starters out. Plus the aquisitions in the SF off season, they will be ready to make a playoff run this year. LOSS.
Week 15: vs. St. Louis 1PM. Not much to say here, last home game, get it done. WIN.
Week 16: @ Cleveland 1PM. Last regular season game, end on a high note, get ready for the playoffs. WIN.
Steelers win the AFC North at 12-4, along with a sweep of the divison.
