Hello. My name is Emily, and in seven years I will be an alcoholic. Well not really considering I may be there already. J/K; although I do love vodka (Stoli) amongst other alcoholic beverages. Seriously, my name really is Emily, but there are a plethora of names by which I go. Emily. Ava. Supe. Miss Supe. The Supe. Nels. Emmo. I think that is pretty much all of them. Beside that, I love sports. Pittsburgh Peguins. Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh Pirates. Yes, that means I would watch a Pens game over a Steeler game any day. I am a huge gymnastics fan, considering it was part of my life for 20 years. Did I mention I play dek hockey? If not, I do. I love the fall.shoes.dresses.crosswrod puzzles.traveling.reading. My favorite book is 'Catcher in the Rye.' I hate phonies; get away from me, thanks. I also hate people in my personal space, even my boyfriend, don't worry it is not just you. I love nerds.chocolate covered gummi bears. I think that is all you need to know at the moment. O yeah, one more thing; I do not trust people who do not drink.

Ok,I  feel like somewhat of an asshole....but what else is new, right?  So here's the latest 'asshole'/funny story.

So, it is the fall time, and I love, love, love the fall.  From the weather to football to fashion, especially nails.  I know this is strange, but whatever.   I love the dark fall colors, maroon, navy, burnt orange, and also military green.   Needless to say, I get my nails done a lot in the fall.  Well, before fall actually started(today), like last week, I got a bright red, I guess to kick off the nail season.  As I was on my way to the nail salon, my friend, texted me and asked me what I was doing on this brisk fall evening.   I told him, getting my nails done now.  Since he is a guy, I asked him for color suggestions, when he responded light purple, I was like ehhh, that is so not fall;  but then again neither is bright red.  Anyway, as the conversation about nail colors continues, I decided when I was finished I should send him a picture of the newly painted nails, of course thinking he would enjoy this.  So when I finished, I sent him a pic.  His response..'very autumn, very nice.'  Soooo, this week I got my nails done once again.  When finished today, I sent him an awesome pic of my new color, which is military green!   His response this week, 'what color is that?  I'm colorblind.'  Holy shit!  I totally forgot, and totally sending him all these nail colors.   So I asked, 'how do you know what military green is?'  The answer is, he doesn't, all he sees is black and white!!   Yeah, I'm the asshole, but it made the wheels start to spin.

These colorblind people, they really only see black and white.  They hear the words, red, orange, yellow, green, military green, so on and so forth....but in reality there is no concept of color.  So, like they have no idea what red looks like.  To put this colorblindness in perspective, I am allergic to peanuts(peanut butter).  Ultimately, I have no idea what peanut butter taste like. People hear this and are like OMG, you don't know what peanut butter tastes like??  I am like nope, I never ate it.   The same is with a color blind person, they don't know what the color red looks like, they never could see it.  So what are they missing, nothing, right??   Imagine that?   Imagine not eating peanut butter and not seeing the color red......then think how about lucky you are..........
